Title: Sr Business Analyst
Location: St. Louis, MO
Type: Contract
Duration: 11 months

Overview:
ZipStaff is hiring a Sr Business Analyst for our client, a major Midwest utility. You will join a Customer Solutions digital product team as an embedded Agile BA, partnering with Product Owners, business stakeholders, technology, UX, QA, and vendors to move work from discovery through implementation.

Responsibilities:
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and clarify business and functional requirements with Product Owners and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and refinement discussions.
  • Develop and maintain process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting delivery artifacts.
  • Serve as BA point of contact for an Agile product team through planning, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Identify requirements gaps, cross-system dependencies, risks, and downstream impacts.
  • Develop and maintain detailed manual test scripts; support functional, regression, and UAT activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with IT systems/projects, including Business Analyst experience.
  • 3+ years in a customer-service-oriented and/or IT-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile software development.
  • Hands-on experience with Zephyr Scale, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, process-mapping, and written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with web and Salesforce CRM implementations or product delivery.
  • Experience testing customer-facing web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with API/integration testing.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, cross-browser, responsive, and mobile-device testing.
  • Experience leveraging AI / GenAI tools.
