About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Lead to design and guide enterprise ITOM delivery for a global technology services firm.
This is a hands-on technical lead role in a multi-tier production ServiceNow environment. You will own CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping architecture, review implementation and customization end-to-end, and give developers clear technical direction. Platform admins or ITSM-only consultants without deep ITOM will not be a fit.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end ITOM implementation and customization on ServiceNow.
- Implement and govern CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Work with client/server APIs: GlideRecord, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideDialogWindow, and related APIs.
- Validate requirements, flag gaps, and confirm solutions are accurate and feasible.
- Provide domain architecture and technical best practices.
- Participate in requirements sessions and translate outcomes into developer guidance.
- Review ITOM build quality, customization, and production readiness.
- Support ITOM capabilities including Cloud Insights, ITOM Governance, ConnectedOps, and Cloud Observability.
Required Qualifications:
- 10–12 years of ServiceNow experience in an enterprise, multi-tier production environment.
- 10+ years in IT overall.
- Hands-on implementation of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Strong Glide API experience (GlideRecord, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideDialogWindow).
- Proven ability to design ITOM solutions and review developer work.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (or Administration certification).
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification in Discovery and/or Service Mapping.
- Ability to work on-site in Spokane, WA.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow ITOM Cloud Insights, ITOM Governance, ConnectedOps, Cloud Observability.
- Prior lead experience on multi-workstream ITOM programs.
- Additional ServiceNow ITOM / CIS certifications.
