Job Title: Senior Systems Technical Analyst – Integrations / BPM
Location: Jersey City, NJ (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)
About the Opportunity
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Systems Technical Analyst for application, system, and platform integrations on a Capital Partners technology team at a financial services organization.
You will sit between business and engineering: document data flows, integration patterns, and BPM workflows, then turn those into specs developers can build. This is a 7-year integration-analyst seat—not a report-only BA and not a developer role.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze, document, and support integrations across applications and platforms (data movement, orchestration, workflow).
- Define functional and technical requirements: integration specs, data mappings, interface designs.
- Document integration patterns: APIs, batch / data-loader files, ODBC / database, point-to-point, and middleware.
- Support BPM workflow design, process modeling, and upstream/downstream system interaction.
- Build a working understanding of orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow): scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, error handling.
- Translate stakeholder needs into technical designs for development teams.
- Partner with developers and QA on integration testing, SIT/UAT, and data-flow validation.
- Troubleshoot integration and data issues in lower and production environments.
- Maintain methodology docs, workflows, and issue logs (Confluence, Jira, qTest).
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years as a Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar.
- Strong analysis and documentation of system integrations and end-to-end data flows.
- Ability to turn business requirements into technical specs and integration designs.
- APIs, file-based integrations, relational databases, and SQL.
- Agile delivery and integration / SIT / UAT support.
- Microsoft Office, Confluence, Jira.
- Ability to work on-site in Jersey City, NJ.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial services, private banking, or investment management.
- SEI platforms, including SEI SWP Accounting.
- Airflow or similar orchestration.
- qTest or equivalent test management.
Benefits:
- Health Insurance.
- Dental Insurance.
- Vision Insurance.
- 401(k).
- 401(k) matching.
- Paid time off.
- Referral Program.
