About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is hiring a Senior Solution Architect for our client, a leading North American wine and spirits distributor. As a technical leader and subject matter expert, you will design scalable, secure and maintainable solutions for product and engineering teams, providing architecture leadership for enterprise domain services and trade, selling and buying (eCommerce) applications. You will play a key role in shaping personalization, experimentation, measurement and Marketing Technology, with a strong emphasis on the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, translating business needs into practical designs that connect applications, data, integrations, content, analytics and customer engagement capabilities.
What You'll Do:
- Provide strategic guidance on business and IT alignment, connecting digital strategy to execution in a collaborative, consultative manner.
- Design end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise products and services.
- Translate business capabilities, product objectives and functional requirements into solution options, target-state designs, integration patterns and implementation roadmaps.
- Provide architecture guidance for customer engagement, content management, personalization, experimentation, analytics, campaign orchestration and digital experience delivery.
- Define solution designs leveraging Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Platform and Customer Journey Analytics, aligned with enterprise systems, data platforms, APIs, identity, consent and analytics needs.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, enterprise architects, business stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to keep architecture decisions practical, reusable and outcome-focused.
- Create and maintain architecture artifacts including context diagrams, logical solution designs, integration and data flows, capability maps, decision records and roadmaps.
- Maintain and evangelize technology standards and identify application and technology rationalization opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant IT and business experience across areas such as technical architecture, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning.
- 7+ years of architecture experience with expert knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, AEP, AJO, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Tags).
- 7+ years of project or program management experience, preferably leading projects.
- Experience with business transformation, process redesign and business capability modeling.
- Native-level or fluent English proficiency.
- US Citizens only.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Expert understanding of digital experience architecture: content supply chain, personalization, segmentation, identity, customer profiles, experimentation, orchestration, measurement and activation.
- Strong knowledge of domain-driven design, API management, data contracts and integration patterns.
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms, custom applications, enterprise data platforms, CDPs, analytics, CRM, ERP and commerce systems.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, consent, security, identity and access management, and compliance for customer and marketing data.
- Ability to evaluate solution trade-offs across cost, complexity, scalability, performance and business value.
- Proven ability to influence architecture decisions in a matrixed environment, coach delivery teams and lead cross-functional teams.
