Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant
Location: Remote (U.S.; Lake Mary, FL time zone preferred)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant for a finance-systems program delivered by a global technology services firm.

You will own FICO configuration and finance product direction—GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting—plus GAAP/SOX-ready design. This is a senior functional seat with roadmap ownership, not a ticket-only support role.

What You'll Do:

Develop and execute SAP finance strategies that improve data accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance.
Implement enhancements for cost tracking, financial visibility, and profitability analysis.
Optimize financial workflows inside SAP.
Gather business requirements and produce functional design.
Support financial reporting and cost/profitability analysis.
Partner with finance, audit, and technical teams on GAAP and SOX controls.

Required Qualifications:

6–8+ years SAP FICO.
Hands-on GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting.
SAP Finance product management and roadmap ownership.
GAAP, SOX, and audit readiness.
Business requirements and functional design.
Financial reporting, cost tracking, and profitability analysis.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation.
Finance transformation / Product Owner.
Tableau and SQL.
Healthcare or pharmaceutical.
Process automation / workflow optimization.
