Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP HANA Developer
Location: Houston, TX or Dallas, TX (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP HANA Developer for a global technology services firm supporting SAP digital transformation.
You will build, test, and deploy ABAP on HANA solutions and apply Joule / BTP where the design calls for it. This is a HANA ABAP engineering seat (CDS, AMDP, RAP)—not a functional-only consultant and not a generic AI prompt role.

What You’ll Do:
  • Translate business requirements into technical use cases.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP HANA solutions.
  • Use CDS views, AMDP, and RAP as the core development stack.
  • Apply Joule and SAP BTP for AI-enabled features where they fit.
  • Integrate new objects with existing SAP systems.
  • Troubleshoot ABAP HANA defects in build and production.
  • Document solutions and processes.
  • Mentor junior ABAP consultants.
  • Work with BAs, developers, and testers through delivery.

Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years SAP ABAP development.
  • Hands-on HANA ABAP: CDS, AMDP, and RAP.
  • Ability to take requirements through development, test, and deploy.
  • Strong debugging and integration with existing SAP applications.
  • Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX or Dallas, TX.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Joule and SAP BTP on ABAP / S/4 landscapes.
  • Mentoring or tech-lead responsibility on an ABAP team.
  • S/4HANA implementation or conversion development.
