Job Title: Senior Salesforce Product Manager – Health Cloud Claims
Location: Remote (U.S. — must work EST hours)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Salesforce Product Manager for claims platforms at a major healthcare payer. The team covers three claims lines: Commercial (in production), Medicaid (in production), and Medicare (not yet live), with monthly production updates. Workflows differ by line. You will step in at step one on work that is not yet built: product vision, strategy, roadmap, and the handoff to other product managers and claims systems. This is a senior product seat — not a Salesforce admin role and not a ticket-writing BA role.
What You'll Do:
- Define and communicate product vision, mission, strategy, and roadmap from a blank start.
- Sequence, prioritize, and drive epics across Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare claims.
- Partner with business stakeholders on objectives and OKRs.
- Run discovery: interviews, research, and current-state analysis.
- Document requirements, user needs, and future-state processes, including process flows for the Product Owner and IT.
- Collaborate with Business, Architecture, Engineering, UX, and Agile delivery on solution options.
- Translate strategy into features, outcomes, and success criteria.
- Align other product managers and interface with other claims systems.
- Coordinate release readiness and adoption.
- Track value realization and adjust the roadmap from results and analytics.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years in product management, product strategy, or a closely related product role at a senior level.
- Healthcare insurance claims — end-to-end, across payer operations.
- Salesforce, including Salesforce Health Cloud.
- A Salesforce certification the manager will accept: Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Business Analyst. Other certs will not be considered.
- A résumé that shows you joined a project at step one and built the vision, strategy, and roadmap — not only an in-flight backlog.
- Requirements, discovery, and stakeholder management.
- Agile, Scrum, and SAFe product practices.
- OKRs and value measurement.
- Able to work EST hours.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare claims workflows (they are not the same).
- Enterprise digital transformation.
- Analytics used to set roadmap priority.
Benefits:
- Health Insurance.
- Dental Insurance.
- Vision Insurance.
- 401(k) + 401(k) matching.
- Paid time off.
- Referral Program.
About ZipStaff:
ZipStaff partners with leading organizations to connect skilled technology professionals with high-impact contract opportunities. We focus on quality matches, clear communication, and long-term success for candidates and clients.
To apply, submit your resume highlighting payer claims, Salesforce Health Cloud, your Admin or BA cert, and a greenfield product you stood up (vision, strategy, roadmap, dates). Do not apply if you only have Platform Developer, Agentforce, or other certs, or if you have only joined products already in flight.
