About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a global technology services firm.
You will turn complex datasets into business intelligence and strategic reporting that drives decisions. This is an analyst seat with expert SQL, not a data-engineer build role and not a junior reporting role.
What You’ll Do:
- Transform complex datasets into business intelligence and strategic reports.
- Write expert-level SQL to extract, join, and validate data.
- Build clear visualizations that turn raw metrics into decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to define the question, the metric, and the action.
- Operate in cloud data environments or with AI-assisted analytics where the team uses them.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years as a Data Analyst delivering production reporting and analysis.
- Expert SQL — complex joins, window functions, and performance-aware queries.
- Proven work with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Track record of turning metrics into decisions stakeholders used.
- Able to work on-site in Atlanta, GA.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud data environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
- AI-powered analytics tools.
- Financial services, retail, or another regulated domain.
