About the Opportunity
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Conversational AI Designer to design complex chat and voice experiences for a major healthcare organization.
You will own conversation design for chat and voice — flows, logic, voice/tone, and LLM / bot-platform work — and must show a digital portfolio of relevant AI or conversational projects. Generic UX designers without conversation-design depth will not be a fit.
What You’ll Do:
- Design highly complex chat and voice conversational experiences.
- Design conversational AI solutions using LLMs, bot platforms, and prompt-engineering practices.
- Craft conversation flows and logic that match product strategy and voice, tone, and brand standards.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to turn insights into conversational solutions.
- Own problem-solving and design decisions through delivery.
- Produce and maintain design artifacts suitable for build and iteration.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years hands-on designing complex chat and voice conversational experiences.
- 1+ year hands-on designing conversational AI solutions.
- Proven knowledge of LLMs, bot platforms, and prompt-engineering best practices.
- Ability to design conversations and logic that follow strategy plus voice/tone/brand standards.
- Demonstrated partnership with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Digital portfolio or work samples of relevant AI / conversational projects (required).
- Ability to work remote aligned to the Eden Prairie, MN team.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare, payer, or regulated-industry conversational experiences.
- Multi-channel (chat + voice) programs at enterprise scale.
