About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Technical Architect to lead SAP Finance architecture and advanced ABAP delivery for a major passenger-rail / transportation organization in the Washington, DC area.

- Direct full-lifecycle SAP Finance implementations (requirements through design, build, unit test, cutover, transports, and hypercare).
- Architect and build ABAP on HANA: Object-Oriented ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, AMDP / Open SQL, and full RICEFW.
- Integrate across FM, GM, FI/CO, MM, O2C, PS, HR, Payroll, and REFX.
- Use SAP BTP, PI/PO, Web Services, Web Dynpro, Workflow, and Web UI.
- Lead technical work in Agile / Scrum / SAFe; estimate effort, manage change and releases.
- Provide high-tier production support, performance tuning, and critical issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years as an SAP Developer or Architect (post-degree).
- 6+ years SAP ECC Finance and S/4HANA architecture, landscape management, controls, and data lineage.
- 6+ years advanced ABAP: ABAP on HANA, OO-ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, RICEFW.

- 5+ years full SDLC in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe in a client-delivery environment.
- At least 2 full-lifecycle SAP Finance implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in CS, IS, Business, or related field
Required certifications:
- SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP.
- Formal SAP technical certification in the supported product line.
- Certification in at least one formal development methodology.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Public-sector, transportation, or funds/grants (FM/GM) environments.
- Strong change/release management and workload estimation.
