About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead Functional Consultant to lead Finance and Controlling solution delivery within SAP ECC environments and support future S/4HANA transformation initiatives for a global technology services firm. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on configuration expertise, strong manufacturing finance process knowledge, and the ability to work closely with finance, accounting, treasury, and controlling teams. This is a hybrid/on-site role in Reno, Nevada.
ZipStaff is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead Functional Consultant to lead Finance and Controlling solution delivery within SAP ECC environments and support future S/4HANA transformation initiatives for a global technology services firm. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on configuration expertise, strong manufacturing finance process knowledge, and the ability to work closely with finance, accounting, treasury, and controlling teams. This is a hybrid/on-site role in Reno, Nevada.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead SAP FICO design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Work closely with finance, accounting, treasury, and controlling teams.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
- Configure and support GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, PCA, and Product Costing.
- Drive integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Participate in ECC-to-S/4HANA assessments and migration planning.
Required Qualifications:
- 12–15 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Strong ECC implementation and support experience.
- Expertise in Financial Accounting and Controlling processes.
- Hands-on configuration experience across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, PCA, and Product Costing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance processes.
- Ability to work hybrid/on-site in Reno, NV.
Preferred Qualifications:
- S/4HANA Finance experience.
- SAP FICO certification.
- Experience with product costing and profitability analysis in manufacturing environments.
- Background supporting ECC-to-S/4HANA assessments and migration planning.
