About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Salesforce Security Specialist to lead security assessments of Salesforce environments for a leading financial services organization.

The specialist is the senior technical voice in front of client security, platform, and leadership teams. This assignment is a three-week security review covering two Salesforce orgs (an established org with accumulated technical debt and a new Financial Services Cloud org approaching launch), the Okta sign-in path into both orgs, and roughly a dozen integrations that run through AWS Lambda. All work is read-only in production, with anything hands-on done in a sandbox. This is a remote role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform hands-on checks of identity and sign-in configurations (Okta to Salesforce).
  • Review integrations and related AWS components (including Lambda).
  • Assess permissions, sharing models, and code for security risks.
  • Evaluate logging and response capabilities.
  • Prepare clear reporting and communicate findings to client security, platform, and leadership teams.
  • Serve as the senior technical voice throughout the review process.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading Salesforce security assessments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce security experience, including leading or owning security assessments, identity configurations (Okta or equivalent), and permissions/sharing reviews.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Identity and sign-in configurations (Okta to Salesforce).
  • Experience reviewing integrations and AWS components (including Lambda).
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce permissions, sharing, and code security.
  • Experience with logging and response in Salesforce environments.
  • Strong reporting and client communication skills.
  • Ability to act as the senior technical authority in front of client security, platform, and leadership teams.
  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud or complex multi-org Salesforce environments is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work fully remote.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience conducting security reviews of Financial Services Cloud orgs.
  • Hands-on experience with technical debt assessment in established Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with read-only production review processes and sandbox-based validation.
  • Background supporting financial services or regulated industry Salesforce security assessments.

Benefits:
  • Health Insurance.
  • Dental Insurance.
  • Vision Insurance.
  • 401(k) + 401(k) matching.
  • Paid time off.
  • Referral Program.
