About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Project Control Specialist for nationwide technology deployments at a national transportation organization.
You will own schedules, financials, risk registers, and vendor liaison for ADA assistive-technology installations. This is a project-controls seat—not a software PM or engineer role.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain schedules, trackers, action logs, risk registers, and status artifacts for nationwide ADA assistive-technology deployments.
- Support financial tracking, accruals, budget monitoring, resource utilization, and forecasting.
- Prepare weekly status reports, executive summaries, variance reporting, and performance analytics.
- Liaise among leadership, project teams, and vendors; draft meeting summaries and action items.
- Monitor milestones and dependencies; escalate risks under program governance.
- Support process improvement and project-management documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years project controls, project coordination, or program-support work.
- Project tracking, financial/variance reporting, and risk registers.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) and project-tracking tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication with leadership.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Large-scale, multi-site, or nationwide technology deployments.
- Vendor management and cross-team facilitation.
- ADA, assistive technology, or transportation / public-sector programs.
