Job Title: Mobile Adoption & Change Coordinator
Location: Washington, DC (Onsite, 25-50% nationwide travel)
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Duration: 11 months
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is hiring a Mobile Adoption & Change Coordinator for our client, a major U.S. passenger rail transportation organization based in Washington, DC. You will lead the people side of a nationwide enterprise mobility rollout, preparing frontline Mechanical, Engineering and Transportation teams for digital workflows through user guides, on-site training, field feedback and adoption tracking.
What You'll Do:
  • Travel nationwide (25-50%) to maintenance and operational facilities for hands-on training, tech open houses and one-on-one coaching.
  • Create quick-reference guides, cheat sheets, FAQs and visual tutorials for new devices and apps.
  • Act as the field advocate, capturing user friction and reporting adoption blockers to program leadership.
  • Coordinate with site managers, shop foremen and OCM leads to schedule rollout waves around shift schedules.
  • Gather feedback, monitor sign-in and app usage and build readiness reports in Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint or Power BI.
  • Partner with the technical deployment specialist to refine the handover experience.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years supporting organizational change management, end-user technology training or adoption programs.
  • Experience training frontline, non-desk or industrial workforces (transportation, logistics, field service or manufacturing).
  • Willingness to travel nationwide 25-50%.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel; Prosci or Kotter exposure is a strong plus.
