About the Opportunity
ZipStaff is seeking a senior Lead Salesforce Developer to drive the architecture and hands-on delivery of Experience Cloud solutions for a state government organization in Phoenix, AZ.
This is a technical leadership role focused on end-to-end Experience Cloud architecture, advanced LWC development, security/identity design, Data Cloud integration, and governance. You will lead solution design, enforce coding standards, and present technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture of Experience Cloud sites, selecting between LWR and Aura templates based on performance and SEO requirements.
- Design robust security and identity models using External Identity, SSO, and complex sharing mechanisms (Account Relationship Data Sharing, Apex Managed Sharing).
- Define branching strategy and CI/CD pipelines specifically for Experience Cloud metadata.
- Build modular, high-performance Lightning Web Components optimized for the LWR framework.
- Implement Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS to deliver personalized content journeys.
- Design sophisticated process automation using Headless Flows and asynchronous Apex for high-volume external user transactions.
- Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to surface unified customer profiles within the community for a 360-degree experience.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (ERP, AWS, Marketing Cloud) via REST/SOAP and Named Credentials.
- Enforce strict coding standards through code reviews to ensure governor limit compliance and scalability.
- Present technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and translate business requirements into technical user stories.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with significant technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in Experience Cloud architecture (LWR and Aura templates).
- Strong hands-on experience building advanced Lightning Web Components (LWC), particularly for LWR.
- Proven experience designing security and identity solutions (External Identity, SSO, complex sharing models).
- Experience with Headless Flows, asynchronous Apex, and high-volume transaction handling.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud and its use in community/experience scenarios.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and Named Credentials.
- Demonstrated ability to lead code reviews, define CI/CD practices for Experience Cloud, and present to executive stakeholders.
- Must be local to Phoenix, AZ and able to work on-site.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience delivering Experience Cloud solutions in a public sector or government environment.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud integrations and Audience Targeting / CMS personalization.
- Experience establishing governance and deployment standards for complex Experience Cloud metadata.
