Job Title: GenAI & iOS Mobile Developer.
Location: 100% Remote (EST or CST time zones preferred).
Employment Type: W2 Contract.
Pay Rate: $66 – $67/hr (W2).
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is hiring a GenAI & iOS Mobile Developer for our client, a Fortune 10 healthcare and pharmacy leader serving millions of patients across the United States. You'll join an innovative AI team that builds intelligent, AI-powered mobile experiences across a large, complex organization. The role calls for equal strength in Generative AI and native iOS development. You'll prototype GenAI mobile solutions, scale existing applications to mobile, and contribute to code reviews in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do:
- Build and develop AI/GenAI models that improve the current environment and deliver better insights and recommendations.
- Design and build AI-powered iOS mobile applications, prototypes, PoCs and MVPs.
- Scale existing applications to mobile platforms.
- Develop agentic AI and multi-modal, intelligent agent-based solutions.
- Use coding agents and LLM tools, including Claude, to speed up development.
- Conduct and take part in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to bring AI solutions into production.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizens or Green Card holders only.
- Proven, hands-on experience with both Generative AI and iOS mobile development, in equal measure.
- Hands-on experience with Claude and agentic AI or coding-agent workflows.
- iOS development with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation and other core iOS frameworks.
- Strong foundation in AI, machine learning and deep learning principles.
- Expertise in Python and tools such as Hugging Face, LangChain and the OpenAI API.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras and PyTorch.
- RESTful API integration, plus MVC and MVVM design patterns.
- Knowledge of iPhone accessibility features.
- Experience building mobile prototypes, PoCs and MVPs.
- Self-motivated, with a collaborative and innovative mindset and a passion for solving hard problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud AI platforms such as Google Model Garden, Amazon Bedrock and NVIDIA NIM.
- Experience with multi-modal data and AI tools.
- Knowledge of CircleCI and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
- Experience with Git, unit testing (XCTest) and App Store deployment.
- Healthcare or other enterprise-scale industry experience.
Interview Process: Two highly technical interview rounds, plus a technical skills assessment.
