About the Opportunity
ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst to build, configure, and support Epic Willow applications for a major healthcare organization.

In this role, you will partner with pharmacy operations, clinical stakeholders, and IT teams to optimize inpatient and outpatient pharmacy workflows, support integrations, and deliver reliable Epic Willow functionality that meets operational and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build, configure, and maintain Epic Willow applications supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, pharmacy operational partners, and Epic Willow end users to gather requirements and optimize system functionality.
  • Support integration of Epic Willow with systems such as Omnicell, infusion pumps, and third-party packaging solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform system maintenance, and provide end-user support for pharmacy workflows and operations.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, validation, and optimization activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, workflow designs, and training materials for clinical, operational, and IT staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, including HIPAA.
  • Partner with project managers, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver Epic-related initiatives on time and within scope.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience or 4+ years of direct Epic Willow application support experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Epic Willow Ambulatory or Epic Willow Inpatient Certification (or ability to obtain certification within an agreed-upon timeframe after start).
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows (inpatient and/or outpatient).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with additional Epic applications that work with Willow (e.g., Compass Rose, EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient).
  • Experience building eRx records, orderable records, panel records, and/or order sets.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy-supporting Epic functionality such as Clinical Documentation, Orders, and One-Step Medications.
  • Familiarity with Epic interoperability tools (including Bridges) and experience troubleshooting interfaces and data exchange issues.
  • Prior involvement in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, or workflow redesign projects.
  • Experience supporting integrated clinical applications in a large healthcare environment.
