About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Data Analyst – ESG / Sustainability to support ESG and sustainability analytics for a global technology services firm.
ZipStaff is seeking a Data Analyst – ESG / Sustainability to support ESG and sustainability analytics for a global technology services firm.
This is a 6-month contract assignment focused on collecting, cleansing, validating, and consolidating ESG data; identifying trends and insights; and developing dashboards, reports, and KPIs related to energy, emissions, waste, water, and other sustainability metrics. The ideal candidate brings strong data analysis experience with large datasets and proven ESG/sustainability analytics background. This is an on-site role in Plano, TX.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform strong data analysis on large datasets related to ESG and sustainability.
- Collect, cleanse, validate, and consolidate ESG data from multiple sources.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for sustainability metrics such as energy, emissions, waste, and water.
- Support ESG reporting, data quality, and reconciliation activities.
- Work across business, sustainability, and technology teams.
- Automate recurring reporting where possible and improve data-management processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7 years overall Data Analysis experience, including 1–2 years in ESG / Sustainability Analytics.
- Strong Data Analysis experience with large datasets.
- Experience collecting, cleansing, validating, and consolidating ESG data.
- Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
- Experience with sustainability metrics such as energy, emissions, waste, and water.
- Experience supporting ESG reporting, data quality, and reconciliation.
- Ability to work across business, sustainability, and technology teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Plano, TX.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience automating recurring reporting.
- Experience improving data-management processes.
- Strong exposure to broader Sustainability / ESG reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks and reconciliation techniques in ESG contexts.
