Overview:
ZipStaff is hiring a Controls Engineer 2 for our client, a global heavy-equipment manufacturer. Based onsite in Tucson, AZ, you will help diagnose and resolve issues in complex control-related systems, communicate technical findings clearly, and contribute as a reliable member of a cross-functional engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues across complex systems using structured problem-solving approaches.
- Use Windows-based tools and environments to support daily engineering and diagnostic work.
- Communicate technical information clearly to teammates, stakeholders, and supporting groups.
- Work independently on assigned tasks while coordinating closely with the broader team.
- Manage priorities and time effectively across concurrent work items on a long-term engagement.
Qualifications:
- Strong Windows computer literacy for day-to-day engineering and troubleshooting work.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues in complex systems.
- Solid problem-solving skills and clear communication of technical information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time-management skills.
