About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is hiring an Azure Transformation Architect for our client, a global IT services and consulting firm. This senior Cloud Ops role focuses on Azure IaaS/PaaS architecture, operations and migration, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week onsite in Cincinnati, OH.
What You'll Do:
- Design and support Azure IaaS and PaaS environments including storage, backup, networking and DR.
- Configure and troubleshoot Application Gateway, Web Apps, CDN, Azure SQL, AD authentication and Key Vault.
- Support AKS, Service Fabric, Container Registry and Service Bus workloads.
- Evaluate migration costs, select environments and right-size VMs; integrate on-premises and cloud solutions.
- Manage service requests, incidents and changes in ServiceNow within a 24x7 operations environment.
- Create SOPs and work instructions for the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on Azure architecture experience (IaaS, PaaS, Site Recovery, SSO, IAM).
- Experience with MS SQL Server, VSTS/Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, JSON/ARM templates, Visual Studio and PowerShell.
- Azure Windows server administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure AI / Generative AI.
- ITIL knowledge and global client-facing experience.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
