Job Title: Angular Developer / Full Stack Software Developer
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week)
Employment Type: W2 Contract
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is hiring a skilled Angular Developer / Full Stack Software Developer for a leading financial services organization to support enterprise application development and platform modernization initiatives. You will build responsive, component-based user interfaces with Angular, TypeScript and RxJS, and work across the full SDLC in a SAFe Agile environment alongside backend, QA, product and security teams. This is a 12-month contract role with possible extension or conversion.
What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Angular 14+, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS.
  • Build responsive, accessible, reusable and component-based user interfaces.
  • Implement reactive programming patterns using RxJS, state management and modular UI architecture.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
  • Contribute to application development involving Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Support CI/CD processes, automated testing, deployments and ongoing application maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC in a SAFe Agile environment.
  • Maintain source code using Git-based repositories, pull requests and version control best practices.
  • Document user stories, technical specifications and development activities in Jira, and support knowledge transfer.
  • Provide occasional overtime or after-hours support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience, with hands-on production work in Angular 14+.
  • Strong command of RxJS, state management and modular UI development.
  • Proven experience building responsive, accessible, component-based user interfaces.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS.
  • Experience integrating frontends with REST APIs and backend services.
  • Experience working within the SDLC and the SAFe Agile framework.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL four days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices.
  • Prior experience in banking, financial services or large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, automated builds, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience with Jira, Agile ceremonies and technical documentation.
