Job Title: AI Engineer – Glean
Location: Remote (Tampa, FL time zone preferred)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking an AI Engineer to build and deploy enterprise Glean search / GenAI solutions for a global technology services firm.
You will configure Glean, stand up connectors and ingestion, wire identity and permissions, and support test through production. This is a hands-on implementation seat—not an architecture-only role and not a prompt-only GenAI job.
What You’ll Do:
- Build, configure, test, and deploy Glean-based enterprise AI / search solutions from client use cases.
- Develop Glean integrations, connectors, and content-ingestion pipelines across enterprise sources.
- Configure search / indexing, identity, permissions, and access control.
- Build supporting integrations with Python, REST APIs, and AWS.
- Customize Glean use cases with client engineering teams.
- Run integration testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years software engineering, integration engineering, or enterprise-search / GenAI implementation.
- Hands-on Glean (or a close enterprise-search / RAG platform you can map to Glean),
- Enterprise search, GenAI / LLM concepts, data integration, and APIs
- Python and REST APIs,
- AWS / cloud services,
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future,
Preferred Qualifications:
- Production Glean connectors, indexing, and source-ACL permissions.
- AWS cloud architecture and architecture-governance exposure,
- Oracle AI / chatbot platforms,
